Many big cities in the US hold a “month of photography” and Denver is one of them.  It’s held every two years and is organized by CPAC ( Colorado Photographic Arts Center).  It is a massive undertaking.  Venues are all over the metro Denver area.  I went downtown to CPAC and they had amongst other artists, Phillip Toledano who does amazing AI work.
