  1. I’ve Conquered ECN-2

    2025-03-23 15:44:58 UTC

After one disaster trying to develop ECN-2 at home and multiple poor commercial lab experiences ( hugely expensive with 2-4 week turnaround) I decided I had to try it again.  This time I purchased an ECN-2 prewash from Flic Film to remove the remjet layer.  These images are officially…

  2. Ilford XP-2

    2025-01-20 01:43:24 UTC

Allow me to geek out for a bit.  Ilford XP2 is an all around champ in terms of a Black and White film.  It is a color print film that renders only in Black and White.  So its native developer is C-41 BUT it can also be developed in traditional…

    2022-06-19 01:33:43 UTC

Another new film to try out - this time is Kosmo Foto Shadow Agent - an iso 400 BW film.  I am having a hard time keeping track of some of the new offerings - are they new film stock or just repackaged film from Eastern Europe?  Anyway this one…

    2020-04-13 16:10:15 UTC

Finally getting to use some of the film that I’ve stockpiled for the last 4 years.  This time it was the French film Bergger Pancro 400.  I didn’t review the film before I shot it.  I find that it’s helpful to make up my own mind first.  Shot it @…

  6. More Stock (Show) Photos

    2020-01-21 14:42:37 UTC

I just got these.  Shot on Fuji Natura 1600 film which is no longer produced.  I shot it at box speed.  Grain is there but it lets you know that its film not digital!

  7. Old Film/Old Cameras

    2019-09-22 22:06:27 UTC

The surest way to fail in photography technically is to grab an old point and shoot that you’ve never used and put in 16 year expired film and go shooting.  You folks will just have to wait till I get the film back but his is exactly what I did…
